You can't mockingly lisp in print, but, if you're Fox News, you do what you can: In a story on calls by the New Jersey GOP for Jim McGreevey's immediate resignation, Fox refers to the man McGreevey had the affair with as

Cipel, an Israeli poet

Nasty.

There's also this rather interesting juxtaposition in the Fox story:

"My truth is that I am a gay American," McGreevey, a Roman Catholic, said at the Thursday news conference.

Paging Andrew Sullivan....

(UPDATE: Well, in The New York Times it's "Mr. Cipel, a published poet and former naval officer.")
