THE DEPLORABLES WILL NEVER BE DISILLUSIONED

I don't have to tell you that the tax bill passed by the Senate in the middle of the night is awful:
The bill is expected to add more than $1.4 trillion to the federal deficit over the next decade, a debt that will be paid by the poor and middle class in future tax increases and spending cuts to Medicare, Social Security and other government programs. Its modest tax cuts for the middle class disappear after eight years. And up to 13 million people stand to lose their health insurance because the bill makes a big change to the Affordable Care Act.

Yet Republicans somehow found a way to give a giant and permanent tax cut to corporations like Apple, General Electric and Goldman Sachs, saving those businesses tens of billions of dollars.

Because the Senate was rewriting its bill till the last minute, only the dealmakers themselves knew what the chamber voted on. There will, no doubt, be many unpleasant surprises as both houses work to pass final legislation for President Trump to sign....

You can expect the lies to become even more brazen as Republicans seek to defend this terrible bill. But no amount of prevarication can change the fact that Congress and Mr. Trump are giving a giant gift to their donors and sticking the rest of the country with the tab.
But Republican officeholders won't really need to lie to persuade their voters that the fecal sandwich they've been fed is actually filet mignon. The deplorables live in a conservative media bubble, so when things go wrong for them, they'll blame the people their media favorites have conditioned them to blame: us.

Take a look at the comments section for the Breitbart story on the tax bill, which is titled "We Win! Tax Cuts for All!" (I guess reports that Steve Bannon wants an upper-bracket tax increase were fake news.) The Breitbartniks are already primed to blame anything wrong in Trump's America on blue states, particularly those where a significant number of citizens deduct state and local tax (SALT) payments on their federal tax returns (a deduction that was preserved, if barely, in the Senate bill).
WE MUST Drop the SALT deductions!

Forget Collins, Pence can break the tie!

No SALT deductions!!!

****

Yup let the Libatarts on the Coast rein in their own Goverment, and have them live within their means !! The rest of should not have to Pay for these Elite aholes !!

****

Fine, then end federal subsidies that your welfare state receives from the taxes we pay. We shouldn't have to pay for your meth addiction.

****

Way to stereotype. We shouldn't have to pay for you saggy pants crack addicts to pop out puppies for more welfare.

Two can play that game.

****

Nice, we shouldn’t have to pay for their Sanctuary City endangered species illegals. To the tune of billions a year. Loss of jobs and lower wages. Literally getting away with murder.

Justice for Steinle Family!

****

Liberal Sanctuaries are also high SALT states which will not be paying their fair share of the income tax. Again efficient Red States bail out the spendthrift Blue States.

****

How much does your trailer park state receive from the federal government for every dollar you pay? You are tax dependent on the so called liberal sanctuaries. You're welcome.

****

2 biggest welfare states. California and NY. California 62 billion dollars.

****

You forgot to subtract the 13% SALT off what u think you paid.

****

With SALT, your a taker not a payer

****

We must regain what has been taken, and force the socialists to choose between Liberia, or Mexico. They are no longer welcome here.

The cities would be great again.

****

Build the “Steinle Wall”...

#SteinleWall

When blue states are deducting "their" state and local income taxes, who is subsidizing who? sorry go drink more mainstream Kool-Aid.
These people will never, ever believe that bad outcomes are the result of conservative policies. Conservatism can't fail, it can only be failed, or sabotaged, by coastal "elites" and coastal brown and black people.

So don't expect a significant number of Trump voters to vote Democratic in 2018 and 2020. Maybe they won't be sufficiently motivated to vote, but they won't cross over. We have to outregister and outvote them.
